Brian Wolfburg serves as the President/CEO of VyStar Credit Union and has more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive in the credit union and diversified financial services industry. Brian cares deeply about supporting educators and helping students reach their full potential in all facets of life. He is also a supporter of the arts and advancing opportunities for underserved populations.

Chad Meadows serves as the EVP/Chief Operations Officer of VyStar Credit Union and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Chad is a strong advocate for community development, especially in the revitalization of downtown Jacksonville. He also supports a wide variety of initiatives for children, including health services, education, athletics and more.

Dana Karzan serves as Chief Marketing Officer of VyStar Credit Union and has more than 20 years of experience across banking and financial technology companies. Dana is an innovative leader who supports many initiatives around arts, music and culture. Her efforts also center around environmental restoration and replenishment.

Patricia McElroy serves as President of the VyStar Foundation and Senior Vice President VyStar Credit Union, leading the philanthropic and community engagement efforts in each of the regions that VyStar serves. Throughout her career, Patti has worked to support non profit organizations and communities across the country and was previously a commercial litigator with a special focus in securities and banking. She is passionate about diverse and inclusive learning environments, the arts and community revitalization.

Currently Secretary on VyStar Board and VyStar Financial Group Board; VyStar Foundation Board Member. Senior environmental scientist for environmental consulting firm. Retired DoD civilian environmental scientist. Retired Master Chief Petty Officer after 10 years active-duty Navy and 14 years Naval Reserves. Formal education includes B.S. Occupational Health and Safety; M.S. Operations Management; and M.S. Soil and Water Science, minor in Environmental Engineering Science. Active in Jacksonville Real Estate Investors’ Association and in church community.

Dane Grey is the President and CEO of Elite Parking Services of America. With more than 14 years of experience in parking and transportation management, Mr. Grey has served on multiple nonprofit boards including K9 for Warriors, Jacksonville University’s Board of Trustees and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. He is a gubernatorial appointee to the Transportation Commission for the State of Florida and a Mayoral appointee to the Jacksonville Electrical Authority and The Downtown Investment Authority. Mr. Grey has a BS from Jacksonville University and an MBA from Delta State University.

Nina Waters led The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida, Florida's oldest and currently its largest community foundation, from January 2005 through her retirement in August 2023. She currently serves on Jacksonville University's Board of Trustees. She served as chairman of the OneJax Senior Advisory Council and is a past chair of Philanthropy Southeast; past chair of Community Foundations of Florida; a founding member of the Jacksonville Civic Council and the A.L. Lewis Black Opportunity & Impact Fund; a founding and legacy member of the Women's Giving Alliance; a former member of the Florida Board of Managers for Nemours Children's Hospital and is a former president of the Uptown Civitan Club. Nina is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After retiring, Nina and her husband moved to North Georgia to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Ellen A. Wiss is a real estate management/marketing professional (President, Homkor Florida) and community volunteer. She is Founder/Board Chair of READ USA, Inc., Board Vice Chair of Lift Jax, and serves the boards of the Jacksonville Public Education Fund, Teach For America, Hubbard House Foundation and the World Affairs Council, in addition to serving on several steering committees. She is founding leader for LiftJax and collaborates with other nonprofits working to improve literacy, education, health and social justice outcomes for under resourced communities.

David Miller is the Co-Founder of Brightway Insurance, one of the largest property and casualty insurance retailers in the country. Miller was a lead investor in the Emerald Trail and is currently Co-Trail Champion; serves on the Senior Advisory Council for OneJax; recently invested in the Sandy Miller Metrotown Institute; was an early investor in LiftJax and served on their board; has ongoing investments in City Year, Read USA and the Jacksonville Public Education Fund. Miller is also an ongoing investor in the United Way and has served on their Board; led the Annual Tocqueville Campaign and was the first Chair of the Stein Fellowship Program; and serves or has served on boards including Jacksonville Civic Council and Jacksonville Civic Council Foundation, Jacksonville Arts and Music School, Jacksonville University Public Policy Institute, Leadership Jacksonville and Jewish Community Alliance, where he is a past president. Miller holds his family at the center of his life. He and his wife, Monique, have two children, Josh and Leah. In response to the rise of anti-Semitism, both locally and nationally, Miller established the Together Strong Community Fund at the Jewish Federation and Foundation of Northeast Florida as a vehicle to build bridges and combat hate and bias of all kinds in our community.

Nicholas Abrahams is the President and CEO of the Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF), a role he has held since August 2024. He has a background in leadership roles at the Orlando Economic Partnership, the St. Johns River Water Management District and the Florida Senate. Nicholas holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree from the University of Central Florida. He is also active in the community, serving on the board of Junior Achievement of Central Florida and on the AdventHealth Orlando advisory board. Nicholas lives in Maitland with his wife and daughter.

Rosimar Melendez serves as the AVP of Giving & Grant Management working closely with nonprofit organizations seeking support and funding from VyStar Foundation. She offers technical assistance and guidance throughout the nonprofits journey, even after the grants have been awarded. Rosi has extensive grantmaking, fundraising, program management, and community development experience. She is a native of Puerto Rico who went on to serve as a proud military wife in support of her husband for over 20 years. She has a passion for honoring and supporting military service members, veterans, and their families.
