VyStar Foundation was established to strengthen VyStar Credit Union’s ability to do good. Operating as a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, the Foundation is committed to leading by example and empowering others through collaborative partnerships and strategic grantmaking.

Our Leadership

VyStar Foundation is incorporated in Florida and operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. It is a separate and independent legal entity from VyStar Credit Union.

VyStar Credit Union's History

VyStar Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned credit union headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. In 1952, our 12 founding members had one bold idea — to create a safe place for military and civil service members to save and borrow money.  

Today, VyStar serves anyone who lives or works in the 49 contiguous counties of Central to North Florida, 29 Georgia counties, and past and present military members and their families all over the world.
